Pampered Like A Baby

Call me a baby or maybe I'm just getting old, but after riding in the mountains around Pemberton British Columbia this week, my body was killing me. It literally took everything in me to crawl out of bed the next morning.
Don't worry, I don't expect pity. Actually, this was the most insane week of riding I've ever experienced with some of the best riders anywhere in this country - pretty awesome.
I had the opportunity to visit a local and legit massage therapy centre in Pemberton called Connections and received treatment from my new pal Sarah Curtis, proprietor of Connections and Holistic Therapist. After 90 minutes of working my back over like pizza dough in the hands of a Sicilian Nona, I am honestly convinced that I need to do this more often.
I snowmobile as much as possible and also try to stay fit by running and lifting weights, but over the years I've accumulate my share of injuries - mostly upper body and as amazing as the human body is at compensating for weaknesses, this week topped the cake. After 90 minutes, my shoulders were looser and my whole attitude was better.
Seriously I recommend massage therapy to any snowmobiler and if you're in the Pemberton area, give Sarah Curtis from Connections a call at 604-894-1223 and visit Connections online at www.therapypemberton.com.
