RACING IN AUSTRIA

So here we are in Austria for the Swatch Snowmobile Race and this event is even bigger than we expected!

Upwards of 24 teams can compete based on IFM regulations of the track size and configuration and the national television network in Austria will be providing a one-hour live broadcast of the Battle of the Champions race (this is the one AJ and Luke are in). For perspective of the size of TV set-up, think X-Games!

This will be the first year for the Battle of the Champions (BOC) race, which is comprised of pro racers and Austrian celebrities (downhill skiers, motorsport racing legends, actors and comedians). Oddly, the downhill skiers are the A-list celebs.

There are 14 teams in the BOC. Our team is sponsored by Red Bull's charity - Wings of Life, which raises money for spinal cord injury research, rehabilitation and cures. Wings of the Life is also the headline charity for the event.

Our celebrity teammate for the race is former FIM MX champion Heinz Kinigardner (Kini Racing). Heinz is also the worldwide motorsports director for KTM racing.
